The PQM concept
We have a pedagogic foundation, which is based on a three-step process:
1. Your present situation
2. Your goal
3. The path to reach the goal
Get a clear picture of both the things you find important to obtain in your near and more distant future (goals) and where you currently stand. This will identify the path you should proceed. If you do not know where you want to be or what to achieve, and you do not have a good understanding of present standing, it will be difficult to move in the right direction.
The TQM philosophy, from which we build the platform, says that the best thing is to:
1. visualize your goal
2. define your present state
3. identify the best way to move from existing place to the desired goal.
There are also people saying that the most important thing by defining a goal is that it enables you to move backward from the goal and see what you need to do in order to move in the right direction.
Even though there are slight differences in the two ideologies they contemplate the importance of having a goal to work towards, a clear understanding of your present situation in order to identify the path that makes the necessary changes/improvements to accomplish your goal(s).
